“Dreams delayed are not dreams denied.”

I began my CIMA Journey with Charter Quest in June 2024. I was working full-time as a finance and audit specialist while also pursuing my Honours in Financial Management with Unisa. Like many do, I questioned how I would balance everything – full-time work, full-time studies, personal sacrifices and moments of doubt.

But here’s what I learned;

Success doesn’t ask for perfection, it asks for consistency, discipline and belief in yourself. Weekends became dedicated study sessions, late nights became routine and sacrifices became necessary. In November 2024, I sat for my last Unisa exam and my first case study on the OCS within the same week, determined to succeed on both fronts, and January came and I had passed both thanks to the structured guidance from Charter Quest.

This was followed by my Management Case study (MCS) and Strategic Case study in quick succession, pushing through each level on the FLP platform, with a rigid study plan. 6 months later, I have completed all my CIMA case studies and passed on my first attempts for all three, while also celebrating my second university graduation with Unisa.

In words of motivation, I will say block out the noise and trust the path set forth by your lecturers, take note of everything and above all else, believe in yourself because it’s possible with CharterQuest.
